First day of School
Walking Lulu to School
Our little Beezer is getting all grown up on us! Just 2 days after coming home from Colombia, and 1 day after starting Kindergarten, Brandon turned 6. His 1st day of school was one that we won't forget.
First of all, he had none of his cute, new clothes to wear. They were still lost somewhere in who-knows-where with our luggage. So, he had to borrow some of his 3 year old brother's clothes....I know, how pathetic is that? He also wanted to have Lulu walk him to school with us on his first day, but we couldn't find her leash...so, we used a belt. I am beginning to think we are turning WT...or would that be HT...Hispanic?
Anyway, he enjoyed his first day of school, but said he was very tired. The next day was his birthday...but we didn't celebrate it until Saturday.
He had a little party with some friends and family. We played a couple rounds of Musical Chairs and Red Rover...which were both super fun to watch. Once that was finished, we were off to his 1st soccer game. After only 1 minute of playing time, Brandon made the first goal for his Team. We were so excited!
A few things I love about Brandon:
* He fights with his brothers ALWAYS (don't love that), BUT if Mason is ever in any danger, Brandon freaks out and tries to protect him.
* He is full of honest questions and wants honest answers
* He has a 2006 pocket Calendar that he uses to countdown upcoming events...even if the days and years are totally off. He carries it everywhere.
* He has the most beautful brown eyes and the cutest little freckle growing right next to his nose
* How he calls the BOM...Book Of Woman...or that a Bunny says "Pop Pop" instead of Hop Hop...and that a horse says "Iddy Up" instead of Giddy Up...and that I don't have the heart to correct him because it is too cute.
* Or, how everyday he comes home and Mason says, "Beezer, how was your day at school?" And Brandon will reply, "Good, how was your Pony Lessons?"
I love you my cute little Patches!
